Insulin Pumpers Canada - NS
(a registered Canadian charity run and supported by volunteers) welcomes you to our next afternoon of education, information and networking about insulin pump therapy.  As part of our mandate, we present 5 - 6 of these public meetings a year.
 
If you are interested in Insulin Pump Therapy for yourself, your child, or clients, or you are presently using Insulin Pump Therapy, this is an opportunity for you to learn more, speak to 'pumpers', and network.
 
This FREE event will be held:

Time:  1:00pm - 4:00pm
Cost:  Free
 
Some snack food will be provided during the break.  Please feel free to bring your own food/drink if you wish.

  • Advanced Blood Glucose Charting (Although Registration is not required to participate, only those who confirm their attendance will be provided with a FREE trial version of the advanced Blood Glucose Monitoring book due to limited resources.)

 

  • Disability Tax Credit using Life Sustaining Therapy Clause (Barb Chafe will share her experience and success applying for the tax credit based on the use of an insulin pump as Life Sustaining Therapy, going through the Appeals process, and going to the Tax Court of Canada (if necessary).  Is this something you should consider applying for?  Is is applicable for children and adults? That is for you to decide.  We hope information shared with you will help you make that decision.
