Insulin Pumpers Canada™, a registered Canadian Charity, is holding Expo 2005 (our 4th) on May 7th in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia.  Our guest speaker for the day is John Walsh, PA, CDE.  John is well respected in the diabetes community internationally and as a result we are fielding requests for information on registration from health professionals and people living with diabetes from Ontario through to Newfoundland

John’s presentation on May 7th at our Expo will be very similar to that presented at the national CDA conference in Quebec City in October 2004.  Unfortunately, we did not have the resources or the time to work with Dalhousie Continuing Medical Education to have the presentation accredited although most disciplines can apply for self credit to their governing agency. We will endeavour to provide any supporting literature you may require to make this application.

If you have clients/patients who you think would benefit from attending either the John Walsh presentations or the Diabetes trade show portion of the event, please provide them with the information.

It is important to note that the information and networking provided at the Diabetes Trade show is useful to people living with all types of diabetes.

Please register as soon as possible for this free event and help us get the word out by passing along event information to your peers.  This is an opportunity that we don't want people to miss out on.

Best regards,

Barb Chafe

President, Insulin Pumpers Canada™
